Business models may tilt toward data-as-a-service, subscription analytics, or hardware-as-a-service, pairing bike hardware with cloud insight. The challenge is balancing performance with repairability, privacy, and cost. As ecosystems emerge, what standards should the industry champion to accelerate adoption without compromising rider trust?
